Today the Swedish government released its report regarding the re-regulation of the gambling market. The new regime is set to come into force in 2019, and the government proposes a Gross Gaming Revenue tax of 18% on online gambling and a licensing system. The proposed tax rate was in line with expectations and will not lead to any larger forecast adjustments for the iGaming companies we have under coverage; Cherry and Mr Green.
